Michelle Morris, Britain’s most successful ever bodyfitness competitor, has become the latest IFBB Elite Pro.
Michelle was awarded her pro card in recognition of twice winning the UKBFF British Championships.
She first took the title in 2014, lining up with 27 women, and successfully defended it in 2015.
She also won the Scottish Championships in 2014 and finished third at the Arnold Classic Europe in 2015.
Now, after a lengthy break from the stage to have her second child, she is itching to get back.
“I feel an amazing sense of achievement at reaching my first goal in bodybuilding,” says Michelle. “I am very grateful to the UKBFF for this recognition.”
The €26,000 Nordic Pro in October is on Michelle’s radar but after being away from the sport for so long she is not rushing things.
“I’m in full prep mode now with 100 per cent consistency,” she says.
“I will be working with my coach Harry Ogg and we will see how I look in three months and go from there. If I have to wait until 2019 I will.”
Michelle, whose son was born by c-section, aims to be back on stage better than ever.
“The surgeon was very understanding that I wanted to compete again and looking at my tummy now you’d never know I had a baby by c-section.”
